　　Along with the improvement of living standards, people are no longer content with being fed and clothed adequately. They are more concerned about how to enhance their sense of happiness.

　　Currently, ① news has it that some major cities in China are setting about pushing “waste sorting”, with the purpose of both reforming the traditional waste treatment and improving this fragile environment we live in. ② What an encouraging change!

　　③ Compared with the traditional way of collecting waste, the new method has brought with it a variety of benefits. ④ First and foremost, wastes are sent to different factories according to their classification rather than landfills, where they would be simply burnt and buried. ④What’s more, waste classification not only cuts the spending on treating waste, but generates some handsome interest.
