  范文:

  Graduate Craze

A growing number of college students and even people from all walks of life take part in theNational Graduate Entrance Examination nowadays. According to an official statistics, in the year2011 alone, there were more than 1.4 million applicants sitting for the exam. It seems to be acraze for postgraduate study.

People have different purposes in trying to go to the graduate school. First, the majority ofcandidates try to get into graduate school due to the employment pressure, as a bachelor’sdegree is no longer evaluated as a sufficient qualification to ensure a decent job nowadays.Second, some people, though employed for years, find their knowledge inadequate to meetthe demand of this ever-developing society. Naturally, they turn to postgraduate study. Third, some people see postgraduate study as a fashion and follow suit.

In my opinion, it is advisable to pursue postgraduate study under the present condition oflow

Employment rate and high demands on talents. And I have every reason to believe thatmore people will struggle to study in the graduate school and the craze for graduate study willlast for years.

  范文:

  Holiday Economy

Holiday economy is not new to people all around the world. In China, it stands for thenationwide one-week holiday starting from October 1st (the National Day). The governmentestablished the week-long holiday back in 1999 to stimulate domestic spending. Touroperators, retailers, and wedding halls have been cashing in ever since.

However, there are shifting perspectives about holiday economy. Many people, includingsome economists, think positively about holiday economy. They believe that tourism-basedholiday economy has increased consumption and helped to spur the domestic demands. Whileothers, who worry about the negative effect of holiday economy, argue that holiday economydo more harm than good. For example, during the extended holiday, scenic spots areoverloaded with tourists, and it not only spoils the relaxing mood of the tourists, but alsooverburdens the tourist attractions.

In my opinion, both sides are reasonable. We should take good advantages of the holidayto develop economy while trying to tackle the problems existed with practical measures. Only inthis way can we not only enjoy the pleasure golden week endows us, but also promote thedevelopment of holiday economy soundly.

  The Way to Success

There are many ways to success, such as hard working, passion or good preparations. From Honore De Balzac’s famous remark, “There is no such thing as a great talent withoutgreat will power”, we can see that the way to success is having a strong will.
